Physical Therapy

Pediatric physical therapy at Bornhava is a discipline that deals with a wide variety of diagnosis that may affect your child’s overall development. The primary role of the physical therapist is to ensure that your child reaches his or her maximum potential regarding their physical performance in everyday activities.

Your child’s physical therapist works in a coordinated effort with a team of professionals including educators, occupational therapist and speech therapists to enhance their abilities, improve their independence and reach their developmental milestones.

Or treatment plans may include:

-Developmental activities to achieve age appropriate milestones( crawling, walking, sitting, standing)

-Therapeutic exercise through play to improve range of motion, strength, mobility, posture, balance and endurance

-Motor planning
