Bornhava is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapist for the center-based and integrated classrooms. This position plans & implements therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation of children with developmental delays. The Occupational Therapist is responsible to review all medical reports, evaluates and determines the needs for appropriate equipment for all children. Applicant must have a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and must be a Licensed Occupational Therapist with 2-years’ experience in a special education preschool.
- SUBSTITUTE TEACHER AIDES
Bornhava is seeking substitute teacher aides full-time and part-time available. The position is responsible for assisting in implementing the specific educational plan for the assigned student. The teacher aide assists the child in increasing his/her independence, adjusting to new situations, and preparing them for new areas of learning. Experience and/or interest in working with toddlers and preschool children who have special needs is required. The substitute may travel to our various locations. Ability to relate well to other and work cooperatively is necessary.
- EARLY INTERVENTION 1:1 TEACHER AIDE
Bornhava is seeking part-time 1:1 teacher aides for children ages 1-3 years. The 1:1 Teacher Aide assists in implementing the specific educational plan for the assigned child. The teacher aide helps the child to increase his/her independence, adjust to new situations, and prepare them for new areas of learning. Experience and/or interest in working with toddlers and preschool children who have special needs isrequired. Ability to relate well to other and work cooperatively is necessary.
- FULL TIME TEACHER AIDE
Bornhava is seeking a Full Time Floating Teacher Aide to assist at all Bornhava sites. The position is responsible for assisting the classroom teacher in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating all aspects of each educational program for children with special needs. Experience and/or interest in working with preschool children who have special needs is required. Ability to relate well to other and work cooperatively is necessary. Reliable transportation to travel to other Bornhava sites.
- MAINTENANCE WORKER – PART TIME
Bornhava is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker with flexible hours as needed. Provide light maintenance and grounds upkeep at Chateau location. Some duties include: repairing, painting & maintaining walls and ceilings, replacing ceiling tiles and lighting structures. Seasonal duties include: shoveling snow and weeding grounds as needed. General upkeep of building exterior and other related tasks as necessary.
